Customs Clearance Administrator - Farnborough - Hybrid role working from home 1 day a week and 4 days in the office - £27,000 - Temp to Perm position

An established logistics and supply chain business based in Farnborough is looking for a Customs Clearance Administrator to join their dedicated, highly efficient team who work to tight deadlines and consistently high standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Previous customs experience is welcomed but not essential as full training will be provided, so my client is open to candidates looking to build or develop a long‑term career within customs and logistics.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the customs clearance process for UK imports and exports, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, compliantly and on time. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to help maintain smooth operations and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting customs clearance documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Supporting import and export clearances across multiple shipment types
  • Data entry and maintenance of customs information within internal systems
  • Checking invoices and supporting documents to ensure compliance
  • Liaising with internal teams and external contacts to resolve queries
  • Working to deadlines in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance and customer service at all times
