As an HR Administrator you would support the whole onboarding operation, beginning with promoting the company to potential candidates through online platforms such as LinkedIn. You would then be involved in contacting suitable applicants, assisting with the interview process and participating in the induction of new employees.

The HR job roles at ITM typically involve many other aspects and will include dealing with internal line managers regarding HR related queries and responding to employees with any concerns relating to areas such as employee relations, payroll or annual leave. The HR team is also responsible for implementing and improving company policies and procedures, ensuring they comply with legislative regulations.

Are you a good fit for ITM?

For an HR role with ITM, or in similar companies, you should expect to have at least 3 years’ experience working in an HR support role. It would also be an advantage to have a background in the specific sector of the business, in the case of ITM that would mean professional services such as pensions and insurance.

As an HR Administrator or Manager you must understand the policies and regulations of the company and the industry. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to build good relationships across all levels of the business. You need to be able to take the initiative and maintain a positive attitude, handling a variety of different situations calmly and decisively.
