The Opportunity
As Internal Sales Support, you'll be part of a close-knit and expanding team, helping to deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting the company's wider sales objectives.
This is a varied, fast-paced role that would suit someone with customer service or internal sales experience who is commercially aware, highly organised and keen to develop. You'll have the opportunity to build strong customer relationships, identify sales opportunities and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business in processing and delivering orders for both stock and bespoke materials for their high end, premium product to UK trade customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term customer relationships
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales and introduce customers to additional products
- Proactively supporting sales activity, including opportunities linked to performance-based incentives
- Working closely with the external sales team to share leads, information and customer insights
- Contributing towards individual and team KPIs and sales targets
- Processing orders, quotations, returns and associated documentation accurately
- Coordinating with warehouse teams to support timely dispatch and delivery
- Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
- Providing accurate information regarding pricing, availability and delivery timescales
- Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally and with genuine care and interest
So, about you!
You'll be motivated, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy office environment. Previous internal sales or customer service experience would be beneficial, although it is not essential for someone with the right attitude and transferable skills from a B2B sales or service industry.
Ideally, you will have:
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A natural ability to build rapport with customers
- Commercial awareness and a goal-oriented approach
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- The ability to manage several tasks at once
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using technology
- The ability to learn new systems quickly
- A collaborative approach, combined with the confidence to work independently
- And be happy to work in the company of the office dog!
Salary and Benefits
The company offers a good overall package, including:
- £28,500 basic salary
- Quarterly bonus scheme of up to 5% per quarter, equivalent to potential annual bonus earnings of up to 20%
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, with two days per week from home after successfully completing probation

Please note, the nearest train station is apx 30 minute walk away. Bus routes come in from Chesham and Aylesbury with connecting services from Ashridge, High Wycombe, Amersham, Hemel, Berkhamsted and Northchurch. Please check your service can get you to the town comfortably for 9-5 hours.
