The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll partner with a number of business divisions, working closely with leadership teams to develop and deliver people plans that support organisational objectives.
As a trusted advisor, you'll provide expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle while helping leaders build engaged, capable, and high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and managers to develop and deliver effective people plans
- Provide expert advice and coaching on employee relations matters
- Lead recruitment and onboarding activities for your business areas
- Support talent development, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives
- Use HR data and insights to support informed people decisions
- Deliver learning and development initiatives and identify future capability needs
- Drive employee engagement activities and help create a positive workplace culture
- Support performance management and the development of high-performing teams
- Ensure HR policies and processes remain legally compliant and aligned to best practice
- Lead and contribute to a variety of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in both operational and strategic HR
- Previous experience in a true HR Business Partner role
- Strong employee relations knowledge
- Ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing recruitment activity and external suppliers
- Strong analytical and HR systems capability.
- An excellent communicator who can influence and challenge constructively
- Relationship-focused and quick to build trust
- Resilient, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
- Passionate about developing people and helping teams succeed
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across the wider business
- Motivated by continuous improvement and positive change
