Our client is a prestigious and well-established packaging organisation with an excellent reputation for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with an initial temporary period of up to one month before moving onto a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting customers and distributors, ensuring every enquiry and order is managed efficiently from start to finish. You'll build long-term relationships with customers, identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, and deliver an outstanding customer experience at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with distributors through proactive and professional communication.
  • Take ownership of customer enquiries and orders, managing them through to successful completion.
  • Process customer orders and quotations accurately within agreed timescales.
  • Recommend suitable products and prepare quotations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Follow up quotations and provide regular feedback to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell products and maximise customer value.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor sales trends and proactively identify opportunities for growth.
  • Become fully proficient in the company's internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure excellent attention to detail at all times.
  • Support the wider team and undertake additional duties to contribute to the continued success of the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and providing first-class customer service. You will be organised, motivated, and confident communicating with customers over the phone and via email.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a customer service, customer support, sales support or account coordination role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and results-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support the business when required.
