Admin Officer

Location: Barnet
Salary: £16.98 per hour
Contract: Full Time - Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 Hours Per Week

Tate are currently supporting a client looking for a proactive Admin Officer to support their growing team in delivering exceptional lettings, property management and sales services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced property environment, helping customers, landlords, tenants and purchasers through every stage of their property journey.

As part of their team, you'll provide high-quality administrative and operational support, ensuring property transactions progress smoothly, compliance requirements are met and customers receive an outstanding service.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support the day-to-day administration of lettings, sales and property management activities, including:

  • Coordinating property viewings, appointments and customer communications
  • Maintaining accurate records and workflows within their CRM system
  • Preparing tenancy agreements, sales paperwork and related documentation
  • Supporting tenancy progression from property instruction through to move-in
  • Managing compliance processes, including Right to Rent checks and referencing
  • Liaising with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, solicitors, surveyors and contractors
  • Supporting residential sales transactions through to completion
  • Producing reports, management information and performance data
  • Ensuring all records and documentation are compliant, accurate and audit-ready
  • Delivering a responsive and professional service to customers and stakeholders.

Experience Required:

Essential

  • Experience in an administrative role within property, lettings, sales, housing or a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM, property management or case management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience within residential lettings, estate agency or property management
  • Knowledge of Right to Rent requirements and tenancy administration
  • Understanding of property compliance requirements, including EPCs, Gas Safety and Electrical Safety regulations
  • Experience supporting residential property sales progression
  • Familiarity with property marketing platforms such as Rightmove, Zoopla or OnTheMarket.
