Bid Executive BirminghamFull-time/PermanentSalary: £40K -£45KHybrid, 2-3 days in the office. My client is an international law firm with reputable experience in real estate, public work, and private wealth expertise. They are seeking a talented Bid Executive, to join their Birmingham office. Must have bid experience. This is solely a bid focussed role, there is no wider BD exposure in this role. As a Bids Executive, you will support bid activity in a variety of ways from supporting some of the firm's most complex and strategic bidding activity, to taking the lead on more routine, day-to-day bids. It is a 'full service' bids role with the opportunity to be involved at every stage of the bid cycle, exposure to partners and subject matter experts from day one, and the opportunity for client liaison. The bids team sits within a supportive and engaged wider Marketing and Business Development function of 24 people who together help to deliver the firm's marketing and client development objectives and the holder of this role would proactively work with all parts of the department. What you'll be doing:<ul><li>Identifying tender and proposal opportunities through press and online sources.</li><li>Drafting discrete content, liaising with content providers, carrying out ad hoc information requests and document formatting in accordance with bid house style.</li><li>Preparing and co-ordinating tender responses including SQ responses, proposals, fee quotations and ITT submissions, project managing routine bids and proposal, extracting client requirements from papers, setting up template response document, managing submission and timelines, submitting clarification questions, helping teams to prepare for presentations and sitting in on client debriefs.</li><li>Liaising with client with regard to clarification points, follow-up and debriefing.</li><li>Locating standard content such as CVs and track record, adding to bid content library, working with team to keep track record database up to date and ensuring all internal filing is managed properly.</li><li>Acting as a point of expertise on bid templates (Word).</li><li>Acting as query point for simple and moderately complex tender enquiries</li></ul> To be successful in the role we want to see that you have:<ul><li>Experience in working on proposals, bids and tenders for both panel appointments and projects</li><li>Experience in a professional services environment</li><li>Experience in using online bidding tools such as tender ports</li></ul> Who you are:<ul><li>Flexible, adaptable, and resilient</li><li>Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to learn and absorb knowledge quickly</li><li>Organised with excellent communication skills</li><li>A team player with the ability to work effectively at all levels</li></ul> Great benefits package including Private medical insurance, pension, discounted gym memberships, free cinema tickets, health assessments, and much more.
