Work doesn’t happen in isolation. At Tate, we partner with universities, industry alliances and business networks to help shape skills, drive innovation and strengthen communities. These connections keep us at the forefront of change and ensure the people and organisations we support are ready for the future of work.
Shaping skills: University of Winchester
We’re proud to contribute to the Employer Advisory Board for the Faculty of Business and Digital Technologies at the University of Winchester. The Board brings together senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, alumni, and university representatives to ensure the faculty’s academic direction stays aligned with the evolving needs of industry and society.
As a member, our Director, Becky Webber, shares insights on emerging trends, future skills and ways to strengthen links between students, employers and research helping graduates’ step confidently into the workplace.
Driving innovation: Hampshire & Solent AI Growth Alliance
We’re proud to be part of the Hampshire & Solent AI Growth Alliance, a new coalition of businesses, universities, public sector bodies and innovation hubs working together to accelerate adoption of responsible AI across the Southern region.
As a founding member, Becky Webber contributes to shaping conversations around AI growth with people and purpose at the centre. The Alliance aims to build a collaborative roadmap for AI leadership, mapping assets, identifying gaps and creating opportunities for organisations and communities to engage with AI confidently and inclusively.
Building connections: Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce
Collaboration extends beyond education and technology. Our operation’s manager, Emma Tarbox, is a Patron of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and an active member with the Bedfordshire Chamber, working alongside business leaders to strengthen collaborative networks, champion local enterprise and open new opportunities for growth. Emma has participated as a panel speaker at their Wellbeing conference alongside Sharron Davies OBE. Emma and her team are the ‘go to’ people for market insights on talent availability and skill demand.
Through these partnerships, Tate is more than a recruitment business. We’re helping shape the skills, innovation and connections that make work better for people, for employers, and for the communities we serve.
