Legal Secretary - (12‑Month Contract)

Winchester | Office‑Based
Up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm to start end June/early July

Our client is an established, award‑winning professional services firm known for its responsiveness, reliability, and integrity. They are seeking an experienced and highly organised Secretary to join their Tax & Estate Planning team on a 12‑month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high‑quality administrative and secretarial support within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audio typing and document production from dictation
  • Preparing a range of legal and administrative documentation
  • Handling internal and external telephone enquiries
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the team
  • Liaising professionally with clients
  • Ensuring file compliance and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments
  • Filing and general administrative duties

About You

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar secretarial role
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to prioritise effectively
  • Accurate typing and data‑entry skills
  • A proactive team player with a flexible approach
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience within Tax & Estate Planning is advantageous but not essential
