Marketing Executive (Interim - 4 to 6 Weeks)

Reports to: Sales Director
Location: Hybrid - approx. 2 days a week in the office in Letchworth - but ideally must live nearby.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 6.00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Marketing Executive to join our team on a 6-week interim basis. This is a standalone role ideal for a proactive B2B marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing a wide range of digital marketing activities.

You will bring a strong understanding of data-driven marketing, with the ability to optimise performance across multiple channels. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, you will be comfortable quickly adapting to new technologies and tools.

Working closely with the Sales Director and key stakeholders, you will support revenue growth from both new and existing customers through effective lead generation, inbound marketing, conversion optimisation, and eCRM campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Campaign Delivery

  • Write and deliver high-quality marketing content including email campaigns, nurture sequences, white papers, press releases, and case studies
  • Support brand awareness initiatives through consistent and engaging messaging
  • Create, update, and maintain marketing collateral, including internal templates and partner-facing materials
  • Develop visual content such as diagrams where required

Digital Marketing & Website Management

  • Plan, schedule, and implement updates to the company website
  • Coordinate and execute social media campaigns from planning through to performance analysis
  • Monitor and optimise campaign performance using data and analytics

Data, Research & Audience Targeting

  • Conduct market research and analyse data to identify and define target audiences (customers and prospects)
  • Build, manage, and maintain targeting lists
  • Import and manage data from third-party platforms

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners
  • Collaborate with SAP and other partner marketing teams to maximise joint marketing opportunities

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing role (ideally within a fast-paced or interim environment)
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Experience managing email marketing, eCRM, and lead generation campaigns
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms and social media management tools
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders
