Receptionist (Temporary)
Location: Theale
Rate: £13-£14 per hour
We are seeking an experienced and confident Receptionist to join us on a temporary basis for a few weeks in Theale. This is a busy, varied role where you'll be the welcoming face of the organisation, working alongside a supportive and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, delivering excellent service with a positive, professional attitude.
- Manage all incoming calls to the office.
- Maintain a tidy, well-presented reception area.
- Arrange lunches and provide refreshments for meetings and events.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, including arranging couriers when required.
- Serve as a First Aider/Fire Warden (training provided).
- Coordinate the reception rota to ensure holiday and lunch cover.
- Assist colleagues and visitors with office-related queries.
- Process invoices, support debt chasing, and update contact lists and directories.
- Print, bind, and prepare documents as necessary.
- Arrange hotel accommodation for staff.
- Support the Admin team with various ad-hoc tasks to help maintain a positive workplace culture and a well-presented office.
- Skills & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Professional, friendly, and well-presented.
- Proactive problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated team player with a supportive approach.
