Paraplanner
Location: Taunton, Full‑Time 35 hours per week
This position is based in our clients Taunton office with the flexibility for some hybrid working from home as agreed.
Salary £38,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Taunton office, 3 days WFH.

What You'll Be Doing as Paraplanner
- Managing communications with providers and colleagues to ensure smooth case progression
- Gathering illustrations, documents, and key information from provider platforms
- Producing detailed technical research and analysis to support adviser recommendations
- Writing high‑quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection
- Developing your technical expertise with ongoing training
- Creating clear handover notes and contributing to process improvements
- Supporting senior paraplanners and operations with workflow, mailbox management, and change initiatives
- Helping cultivate a positive, collaborative team culture
About You
You pride yourself on accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. You enjoy working closely with advisers and paraplanners to deliver an exceptional client service and value being part of a supportive team.
We're looking for someone with:
✔️ 5+ years in Financial Advice Services (including 2+ years paraplanning)
✔️ Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)
✔️ Strong communication and client‑care skills
✔️ Excellent organisation and diary management
✔️ High attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset
✔️ Experience with CRM/IT systems (Intelliflo & Financial Analytics desirable)
✔️ A positive, collaborative approach, leading by example
