Join a Fast-Growing, Global Operations Team Making a Real Impact

My client is a rapidly expanding business that delivers tailored catering and supply chain solutions to major travel and hospitality brands across the UK and Europe. With a multi-million-pound operation that's scaling fast, they're now seeking a proactive, organised and analytical Supply Chain Coordinator to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is the perfect role for someone who loves structure, thrives on responsibility and takes pride in staying one step ahead. You'll be at the heart of the operational engine, working with suppliers, production units and internal teams to ensure stock, orders, data and processes are accurate, efficient and always moving.

If you enjoy problem‑solving, communicating clearly and working independently in a remote environment, this could be your ideal next step.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days look the same. You will:

Own purchase orders, stock accuracy and supplier communication

  • Manage and update purchase orders, receipts, stock levels and supporting the AP/AR team
  • Work directly with production partners to ensure products meet required specs
  • Follow up on non-conformance issues and drive resolution
  • Maintain accurate supplier and warehouse performance data

Keep operations moving

  • Forecast and place orders well ahead of schedule
  • Monitor and maintain key operational spreadsheets
  • Ensure Xero data is accurate and invoices are matched correctly
  • Chase suppliers and stakeholders proactively

Communicate with precision

  • Send clear, specific, purposeful messages to suppliers
  • Provide same-day responses to production units and partners
  • Keep customers and internal teams informed, especially on time-sensitive tasks

Take full ownership of your workload

  • Track all tasks using ClickUp or structured systems
  • Complete tasks without reminders and follow through to the end
  • Work confidently and independently in a remote environment
  • Bring ideas, questions and curiosity to team meetings

Solve problems and think ahead

  • Troubleshoot issues before escalating
  • Apply strong numeracy skills to stock, cost and margin calculations
  • Improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement projects

What My Client Is Looking For

Essential Skills & Behaviours

  • Strong Excel capability (formulas, search and structured data)
  • Confident with numbers, able to calculate percentages, margins, variances
  • Highly organised, reliable and accountable
  • A proactive communicator who chases answers, not deadlines
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
  • Curious, engaged, ready to ask questions and contribute ideas
  • Resilient and able to support the team during busy periods

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in operations, supply chain, food production, distribution or logistics
  • Experience with Xero accounting software
  • Exposure to international or domestic freight
  • Additional languages (Spanish is a bonus)

Education

  • Degree or equivalent experience in an operational/administrative role

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • You'll join a small, supportive, close‑knit team
  • Your ideas and input will genuinely matter
  • You'll gain exposure to global supply chain operations
  • You'll enjoy autonomy, trust and the ability to make your mark
  • You'll be working with a business that's growing quickly, bringing opportunity to grow and develop

If you're proactive, detail-driven and love making things run like clockwork… this role is for you.
