We are recruiting an Assistant Field Care Manager on behalf of our client, a respected provider of high‑quality community care services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional looking to progress into a leadership and coordination role.

You will support the Branch and Field Care Managers with recruitment, care package management, staff supervision, and day‑to‑day operational delivery. The role offers hands‑on experience in care planning, risk assessment, and CQC compliance - ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career.

Your Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Support

  • Screen and shortlist candidates for community care roles
  • Conduct interviews and support the onboarding process
  • Create, post, and manage job adverts
  • Handle initial client enquiries and gather key information
  • Assist in setting up new care packages and maintaining existing ones
  • Attend client visits to support assessments and ongoing reviews
  • Support daily management of community care packages
  • Assist with rota planning and respond to staffing challenges
  • Problem‑solve operational issues and cover staff absences where required
  • Support administrative tasks linked to quality monitoring
  • Ensure all processes and documentation meet CQC standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the service
  • Research potential referral leads
  • Promote services to Social Workers, Case Managers, and other professionals
  • Support the growth and visibility of the service

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Background in care (community, domiciliary, or complex care)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
  • Positive, proactive "can‑do" attitude
  • Driven by personal and team success

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel across the East Midlands, West Midlands, and Yorkshire
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
