Customer Service & Sales Admin Team Leader
Northampton
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Up to £30,000
This is a hands-on role, leading a small team but also getting stuck into the day to day yourself, delivering an excellent end‑to‑end customer experience while providing strong operational and administrative support to the Sales team.
You and your team will ensure customers receive clear communication, smooth onboarding, reliable service delivery, and effective issue resolution. The role also supports the Sales team with admin tasks.
You will be responsible for:
- Handle customer enquiries across phone, email, and digital channels.
- Process customer orders accurately.
- Prepare, issue, and follow up quotations.
- Streamline and oversee the full end‑to‑end customer experience.
- Lead a small team of Customer Service Administrators
- Ensure accurate and efficient order processing and service‑delivery workflows.
- Manage customer onboarding to ensure smooth setup and clear expectations.
- Take ownership of customer queries/issues, ensuring full resolution and addressing root causes.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Sales Manager and Sales Team.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Experience in a Senior Customer Service role or Team Leader position.
- Experience in customer service, order processing, and sales administration within a commercial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and core business systems.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capability.
