Contract: Permanent, full time
Location: Basingstoke - Office Based

About the role
We are looking for a driven, commercially minded IT Hardware Broker to help grow our data centre and enterprise customer base. You will be sourcing and supplying high demand compute and infrastructure including Intel® and AMD, CPUs, NVIDIA, GPUs and networking kit, working closely with suppliers to secure stock, price competitively, and close business quickly.
If you already have industry relationships or a book of clients, even better. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast paced, target led environment with plenty of room to grow.
What you will be doing
- Growing data centre and enterprise accounts across the UK and EMEA through outbound prospecting, existing network activation, and channel partners.
- Brokering and supplying key component lines including Intel and AMD processors, NVIDIA GPUs (H100, A100, L40S, RTX 6000 Ada), server memory and storage, and non Cisco networking.
- Managing the full sales cycle end to end from understanding customer requirements through to sourcing, quoting, negotiating, and closing.
- Keeping your pipeline healthy and accurate with regular forecasting and reporting on revenue, GP, and activity KPIs.
- Winning new customers while developing repeat business with existing ones.
- Working closely with vendors, distributors, and logistics teams to secure stock, reduce lead times, and support customer SLAs.
- Staying up to date with market pricing, allocations, product changes, and roadmap developments across CPUs, GPUs, and networking.
- Following internal processes around credit checks, POs, and margin protection.
What you will bring
- Proven experience selling or brokering hardware into data centres whether colocation, hyperscale, MSP, or enterprise.
- A background selling Intel® or AMD® processors and related server components.
- Confidence selling NVIDIA® GPUs for AI and accelerated compute (even if you have called them "graphics cards" before).
- Networking sales experience, ideally across non Cisco vendors like Arista, Juniper, HPE Aruba, or Extreme.
- Existing customer relationships or the ability to bring business with you.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage margin and deal flow from quote to cash.
- A target driven mindset resilient, proactive, and comfortable working at pace.
- Solid CRM discipline (HubSpot or Salesforce) and good Excel and quoting skills.
Nice to have
- Understanding of the channel ecosystem (distributors, sub distributors, refurb, brokers).
- Familiarity with server architecture, product SKUs, binning, TDP, memory channels, PCIe lanes, etc.
- Awareness of AI and ML or HPC workloads and the networking demands behind them (40/100/200/400GbE, optics).
How we measure success
- New business revenue and gross profit.
- New logo acquisition and account growth.
- Quote conversion and sales cycle efficiency.
- Pipeline strength and forecast accuracy.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary up to £32,000 depending on experience.
- Uncapped bonus combining individual and group performance.
- Plus pension, holidays, healthcare, training budget, and support for certifications.
Why join us
- Be part of a high growth sales desk with strong supplier access and real autonomy.
- Shape deals across compute, AI, and networking without being tied to a single vendor stack.
- Enjoy uncapped earning potential with clear, transparent targets
