Tate are working with a national public‑sector organisation in their search for a Project Manager on a part time basis. This organisation is dedicated to protecting, enhancing and championing the historic environment. This is a place where long‑term impact and innovative approaches come together to support heritage, people and places.
You will help drive forward a small portfolio of commercially focused projects and support the development of Treasury Green Book business cases and work closely with teams across areas such as Partnerships, Finance, IMT, Procurement, Communications and regional delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and start‑up of income‑generating and commercially focused projects.
- Develop and use project tools and documentation, including business cases, initiation materials, risk and issue logs, reporting, stakeholder plans and resource management.
- Build strong working relationships across multiple departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support effective internal and external communication of project aims and progress.
- work across multiple teams and disciplines, helping to shape initiatives that strengthen income generation and organisational sustainability.
- Contribute actively to Project Boards and Working Groups, offering solutions and taking delegated responsibility for progress and reporting.
- Embed evaluation into projects, working with analytics teams to capture insights and lessons learned.
Experience:
- Demonstratable experience of planning, delivery and close of multiple projects
- Experience of contributing to Treasury Green Book business cases
- Proven experience of managing budgets, procurement and / or management of contracts, including risk management
