Part-Time Events Administrator - Hatfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day
Location: Office-based, Hatfield
Contract: Permanent
Are you highly organised, proactive, and looking for a part-time role in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We're recruiting for an Events Administrator to join a friendly team in Hatfield, supporting two Event Managers with a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth delivery of conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide administrative support across all aspects of event planning and logistics.
- Draft and distribute event information to speakers, sponsors and delegates.
- Manage bookings via phone and email, including processing invoices and payments.
- Prepare delegate lists, reports, and event documentation such as agendas and briefing packs.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with digital event platforms for virtual or hybrid events.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and maintain databases for speakers and venues.
- Respond to general emails and shared inbox queries.
- Attend occasional events to support on-site operations (registration, set-up, attendee assistance).
What we're looking for:
- Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- A proactive, flexible team player who can prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in event administration or coordination is desirable.
- Familiarity with Zoom, Canva, or CRM systems would be an advantage.
