Assistant Property Manager

Salary: £26K

Hours: 09:00AM-5:00PM, Monday to Friday with Friday WFH

Main responsibilities:

  • Assisting the property manager in day-to-day
  • Help to coordinate all maintenance requests and planned works on site.
  • Administration of minor works processes with record keeping, instructing contractors, progress chasing, diary keeping, correspondence, processing invoices, filing.
  • Property inspections and call outs
  • Assist in management of other cities (Bath and Bristol)
  • Helping with compliance management.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to join our small Brighton based team to assist the property manager with various day to day tasks and administration work, ideally with some experience within property or lettings.

The role will be varied and mostly office based with the occasional need to visit properties and organise maintenance work, there is opportunity to grow and develop your skills to start a career in the property sector.

Working as part of the team you will need to be organised and comfortable talking to tenants and contractors and have good initiative to be able to plan and look ahead to work autonomously.

Requirements:

Full clean UK driving licence and car.

Experience in the lettings industry (preferred)

Experience with using computer-based systems (Excel, word, Google, etc)
