Tate appointed as Managed Services Supplier on YPO Framework

Tate has been selected as a Managed Services supplier to provide temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions to the public sector. The Managed Service Framework covers an extensive range of staffing categories including administration, media & marketing, technology, health & social care, HR, commercial, finance, procurement, Blue Light, estates, facilities, revenue & benefits, waste management, hospitality & catering, driving, engineering managerial, housing and legal. This service comes under seven lots of the Managing Recruitment and Resourcing framework of the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO).

YPO is one of the largest public sector buying organisations that was founded 50 years ago by a group of 13 local authorities. They work closely with suppliers and collaborate with other public sector buying organisations to achieve cost-effectiveness. All their profits are reinvested in the public sector.

The third generation of the YPO framework was highly competitive, and selection criteria was based on quality, price and social value. Agencies that could offer flexibility and bespoke solutions to meet organisation’s managed service staffing needs were accepted into the framework.

Tate is now authorised to provide Managed Service staffing solutions (MSP) in six of the lots within the framework that cover local authorities, central government, housing, higher education and the emergency services. The framework enables Tate to deliver top talent, optimise retention strategies and blend innovation, insight and human intuition to resolve staffing challenges for organisations within these sectors.

In addition, the seventh lot allows Tate to offer Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) to the sector by taking on all permanent and temporary recruitment services including payroll, compliance checks and the onboarding of new starters. Alternatively, individual services can be provided to plug gaps in the organisation’s current recruitment and compliance of staff management capabilities.
