Office recruitment company Tate hosted the first ever East Midlands PA Awards on Friday 17th March at World Service Restaurant in Nottingham.
Bringing together high-performing personal assistants and executive assistants from leading companies from across the East Midlands region for an intimate celebration, the event rewarded PAs and EAs for excellence in three separate categories. The winners were Joanne Hudson from Savills (nominated for ‘event management & client engagement’), Rachael Spencer from East Midlands Trains (company ambassador) and Lucy Milner from Paragon (going ‘above and beyond’).
Joel Fletcher, Senior Operations Manager for Tate in the East Midlands, commented:
“We’re very proud to be holding the first ever East Midlands PA Awards. These awards recognise the great work that PAs and EAs do to keep their companies moving. Working with these professionals every day, we understand that it’s a challenging multidimensional role that is vital to the operation of any organisation.”
Following the success of the inaugural event, Tate will continue to hold the awards on an annual basis. Fletcher continued:
“This kind of event has been long overdue in the East Midlands region and we’re really pleased with how the awards went. Many senior professionals recognise that they wouldn’t be able to do what they do without the work of their PAs and EAs. It’s important that we continue to recognise that as an industry. Many congratulations to all our winners and we look forward to next year!”
