ER/HR Advisor - Temporary - 4 weeks, with possible extension
Start: asap for 4 weeks
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Pay rate: £17.95/hr

Key Responsibilities
- ER Case Management: Lead and progress a high volume of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance management, and investigations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide practical, solutions-focused ER advice to managers, guiding them to take ownership of processes while following policy and best practice and mitigating risk.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in ER case handling and suggest improvements to streamline case resolution.
- Manager Capability Support: Where possible, support the ERBP in embedding stronger ER capability in line managers.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong ER experience - able to independently manage complex cases.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, preferably in a multi site organisation and/or engineering/manufacturing/rental industry where H&S is key.
- Confident in coaching and advising managers on ER processes - as well as rolling sleeves up and 'doing the do' whilst managers are on the transition journey.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and best practices.
- Able to quickly build credibility with managers and stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a similar ER-focused role (HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor / ER Specialist).
- Ability to contribute to process improvements around ER case management.
