Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday (hours between 7am and 7pm on a shift basis - 7am-3.30pm, 9am-5.30pm, 10.30am-7pm)
Are you an experienced receptionist with a background in corporate environments, premium hospitality, high-end retail, or the hotel industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Reception Host working for a prestigious finance sector client. This role is based in a high-profile building with a sole client, where professional standards and attention to detail are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues, you'll be expected to maintain the highest levels of professionalism at all times. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meet & Greet: Welcome visitors with a professional demeanour, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
- Communication: Handle phone calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Client Liaison: Notify the appropriate person upon the arrival of visitors and assist with any visitor-related queries
- Visual Standards: Ensure the reception area is consistently well-presented and aligned with the client's high standards
- Client Booking Software: Be proficient in the client's booking software, ensuring smooth visitor management
- Meeting Room Management: Assist with meeting room setups, greet and host visitors, and ensure smooth transitions between meetings
- IT Support: Raise tickets for any IT-related issues via the IT Helpdesk platform
- Security & Access: Maintain security protocols, ensuring effective access pass management
- Collaboration: Work closely with both the client's reception team and housekeeping to ensure all service requirements are met
- Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tasks and responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of all activities.
About You:
We are looking for candidates with the following background and qualities:
- Experience: Previous experience in a corporate reception, premium hospitality, hotel, or high-end retail environment is essential
- Professional Demeanour: You must possess a polished, professional demeanour and the ability to engage with senior-level clients
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems is required
- Attention to Detail: The role is fast-paced, so the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is key
- Appearance: As this is a role for a high-profile client, candidates must have no visible tattoos or piercings and no unnatural bright hair colours. Corporate attire is expected, with a £350 uniform allowance to help cover costs.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be eligible for a DBS check, which will be carried out after the successful interview process.
- You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment, balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards.
