Job Overview:
Our client, based near Liverpool Street, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join their team on a part-time, temporary basis. The ideal candidate will work two days a week (Thursday and Friday) and will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with administrative tasks. This position is a temporary role, expected to run until the end of the year, and is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with legal experience who are looking for flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents.
- Maintain and update legal files and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls related to legal matters.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and maintain calendars for legal team members.
- Liaise with clients and external legal professionals when required.
- Other general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the legal department.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to support the team as required.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is an advantage.
