Projects Coordinator

We are recruiting for a **Projects Coordinator** on behalf of our client, a leading company in the energy sector. This role is crucial in overseeing the entire process, from the point of sale to the successful delivery and installation at the client's site. You will ensure the seamless co-ordination of logistics, shipping, and associated documentation, while managing sales orders and maintenance contracts to meet key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders and maintenance contracts in line with company procedures and KPIs.
  • Place and progress purchase orders, ensuring smooth co-ordination with suppliers and customers.
  • Oversee logistics and shipping, including handling site-specific documentation, security, vetting processes, and permits.
  • Update order entry systems, ensuring jobs are managed efficiently and backlog dates are accurate.
  • Ensure financial controls are followed, and sales variations are processed promptly.
  • Co-ordinate engineer schedules, ensuring bookings are made and confirmed within KPIs.
  • Provide support to Service Sales and Field Service teams as required.

We are looking for:

  • Ability to manage multi-disciplined projects from start to finish, ensuring all processes run smoothly from sales order to installation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, such as handling logistics, co-ordinating schedules, and processing orders within defined KPIs.
  • Ability to resolve logistical and scheduling challenges, ensuring smooth co-ordination and delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness, with a good understanding of the commercial aspects of project co-ordination, including budget adherence and cost management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various internal departments and external partners.
