IMMEDIATE START AND INTERVIEWS

  • Salary: £35k (£65K OTE)
  • Hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Based in Guildford, Surrey
  • This is a fill time Office based role

Our client within the Automotive industry based in Guildford is seeking experienced B2B Business Development Manager.

Duties:

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets to contribute to the site profitability
  • Approach customers in a helpful, friendly manner to ensure that the initial meeting and greeting creates a positive impression
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities using proactive methods
  • Building a rapport with corporate customers to understand their requirements in full, ensuring that all communication is professional and within a timely fashion
  • Design and deliver tailored presentations aimed at the specific customers, covering key points raised during discussions such as model specification, competitor's comparisons, tax implications and cost of ownership.
  • Design and implement a Customer contact and prospecting plan to increase sales opportunities for new and repeat business
  • Keep up to date with product and accessories range
  • Report and take appropriate action based on activity on a regular basis
  • Offering integrated sales and aftersales solutions for local business customers, maximising the business potential within their area of influence and ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service.
  • Arrange demonstrator test drives to fit with your customer's requirements.
  • Adopt a flexible approach, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business

Requirements:

  • Capable of conversing with others pleasantly, clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of sales processes, including the ability to fully and accurately qualify customer needs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer legislation, regulations and trade practices as well as vehicle legislation as it affects the industry
  • An ability to think quickly during a negotiation process
  • High achieving, highly motivated team player with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to plan and organise your own daily selling activity to secure new business
  • Full UK driving license
  • Computer literate in Microsoft packages
