Contract Coordinator - Romsey - £28,000 - £30k - on site Monday to Friday

We are working with a design and build specialist, who are looking for a contract coordinator to join their dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Working within the construction industry, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and solutions, ensuring clients receive projects of the highest quality, on time and within budget.

The contract coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle for multiple construction projects, from the point of job handover to the Contracts Department by Sales, all the way through to project completion. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing key aspects of planning, coordination, supplier and contractor management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Contract Coordinator duties include:

  • Collaborate with Contracts Managers on all phases of project delivery, from job handover through to final completion.
  • Coordinate project planning, procurement, and scheduling in alignment with project timelines.
  • Manage relationships and communications with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure all aspects of the project comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and documented.
  • Monitor project progress against key milestones, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Support the Contracts Department in resolving disputes, managing risks, and ensuring that project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Generate regular project status reports, keeping stakeholders informed on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in managing supplier and contractor relationships within the construction sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on maximizing value while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are running concurrently.
  • Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel
