The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team to achieve business financial targets and goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day administrative support with pace to the Business Development
  • Managers and Internal Sales team, including dealing with incoming customer enquires efficiently.
  • Utilise IT Systems and CRM systems to generate price files, reports and capture key sales data
  • Monitoring and analysing sales metrics, identifying sales patterns and trends and highlighting these to the relevant sales team to support the increase of sales and margin.
  • Communicate with customers to inform them of price changes, product delists and changes or product specifications
  • Input special pricing and banded pricing categories on relevant IT Systems in line with sales requests and ensure all banded and supplier price lists are accurate and updated

Key Skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to analyse sales data to identify trends and new opportunities.
  • Good administrative and IT skills particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, a confident telephone manner with excellent time management.
  • Well organised & self-motivated, demonstrating attention to detail and able to effectively prioritise workloads and deadlines.
  • Supports the development of positive team culture.
  • Understands and supports company values.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent written, oral and listening skills with the ability to confidently resolve issues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proactive approach to the development of the role and support of the business requirements.
