We are looking for an experienced Business Administrator on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months which which could be extended. This is a full time role Mon to Thurs 9 to 5 and Fri 9 to 4:30pm.

Job Advert: Administrative Assistant (Music Service)

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual? In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our mission to provide high-quality music education.


  1. Music Service Administration:

    • Collaborate with the Team to ensure efficient administration of music services.
    • Maintain accurate records, handle inquiries, and assist with scheduling.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Work closely with the Management Team and Business Coordinator.
    • Compile, analyze, and deliver data reports, including DfE data returns.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Instrument Stock Management:

    • Source and secure suitable space for instrument stock
    • Coordinate inventory and logistics.
  4. Website Management:

    • Decommission existing websites for Music Service and the Music Hub.
    • Reform and enhance the new website.
  5. Network Drive Transition:

    • Assist in decommissioning legacy network drives.
    • Set up SharePoint folders according to the agreed structure.
    • Address any reluctance from current Business Support regarding this change.
  6. Service Offer and Customer Relations:

    • Support the Service Offer to Schools.
    • Facilitate Buy Back arrangements with schools during June and July.
  7. LSS/School Development Support:

    • Provide administrative assistance to the Learning Support Services (LSS) and School Development team.


  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with web content management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
