Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an established local authority business in the heart of Brighton and Hove. We are currently recruiting for a Project Development Officer to join their City Environmental Management department.

Project Development Officer

  • £16.63ph
  • ASAP start until end of October 2024
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • Fully onsite- Brighton BN1

Purpose of the Job as Project Development Officer:

  • To manage specific projects within Cityclean and Parks.
  • Responsible for supporting and developing projects within City Environmental Management.
  • Act as a project contact for the City Clean project, liaising with project partners and businesses.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of the household behaviour change pilots.
  • To undertake research and development with operational staff to improve performance in front line services.

Ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of one or more of the following:

  • Community engagement work in a neighbourhood setting
  • Community consultation and research
  • Working with disadvantaged minority groups
  • Development of groups or activities within a neighbourhood setting
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments
