Data Processing Specialist

Brighton, UK (with potential for remote work)

Temp: 3- 6 months

Full-time - 5 days a week



My client a leader in higher education and university partnering is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Processing Specialist to join their team on a short-term contract.

The successful candidate will support the ongoing transition of our academic entry requirements from documentation to a system-based format. This role involves extensive data handling, preparation, and quality control to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of entry requirements into our database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert and prepare data various sources into flat Excel files suitable for database entry.
  • Assist in the review and quality control of transposed data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the matching and integration of data into our system, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks against source documents
  • Collaborate closely with Admissions Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and to ensure accurate data representation.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in data processing, data entry, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in education or knowledge of international qualifications is a plus.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
