Sales Administrator

Location: Reading, RG7 (Own transport needed due to rural location)
Salary: Up to £32,000 (based on experience)
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday-Friday, Fully Office-Based

Our client is a top global provider of engineering services, working with a wide range of clients. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to support the Sales Account Managers.

Your Role: As a Sales Administrator, you'll help keep the sales processes running smoothly. Your tasks will include:

  • Order Management: Inputting and processing orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Documentation: Creating proformas, raising purchase orders, and handling invoices.
  • Financial Coordination: Sending invoices and working with the Accounts team to keep financial records accurate.
  • Procurement Support: Assisting with purchasing and managing vendor relationships.
  • Event Preparation: Helping with exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Travel Arrangements: Booking travel for colleagues, including flights and hotels.

What We Need: We're looking for someone who wants to grow. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales administration or order processing is a bonus.
  • Proactivity: A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Team Spirit: The ability to work well in a team and take charge of tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
