Leading Law firm based in Manchester is currently requiring for the below roles:

  • Admin Assistant - Perm / FTC/ Part Time - £18k - £21k
  • Legal Support Assistant - FTC - £23K - £29K

Admin Assistant Duties:

  • Provide administrative and file management support across the team
  • Work will come either directly from the fee earner or through the work allocated by the Practice Assistants
  • The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining an ongoing service-based relationship with the team they support recognising and translating the needs and expectations into a responsive service

Requirements:

  • An effective communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients in a professional manner; striving to provide exceptional service at all times
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Customer/client service focused
  • Relevant office-based administration experience
  • An aptitude for administration management and processes, with experience of working with document management/case management systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

Legal Support Assistant Duties:

  • Working as a team to act as a point of contact for fee earners
  • Manage the workflow by utilising Administrative Assistants
  • The role with undertake all aspects of the Legal Support Assistant role, and where Production, retaining ownership and accountability of all tasks through to completion
  • Provide a high quality, comprehensive workflow management and organisational service to fee earners

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of document management/case management systems
  • An effective communicator with an excellent customer and client service approach
  • Proven experience of managing client facing tasks and priorities, with a hands-on, practical approach
  • Experience of working in a legal or professional services environment
  • An aptitude for managing multiple priorities, producing documents and client communications of the highest standard
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
