Our client is based in the Guildford area, who have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Systems/Data Analyst.

Key Duties:

  • You will be responsible for all People data reporting and analysis
  • Provide insights to the global HR function and business leaders that enable effective decision-making and workforce planning
  • You will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of People data by working with colleagues to proactively resolve issues and ensure the continuous improvement of data quality through regular reviews and audits
  • Additionally, you will develop dashboards that provide real-time insights, model trends and work with colleagues to use predictive analytics to identify policy change opportunities and actions that will improve employee engagement and experience
  • Prepare, analyse and present people metrics for review by key HR and business stakeholders, to enable effective workforce planning and decision making on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly HR metrics, reports and Dashboards
  • Help others to make good use of research and data to reach evidence-led decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement of people data quality in partnership with the HR Administration Team to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements
  • Lead on data cleansing, upload and input activity
  • Coordinate data and reporting requirements and solutions with the HR team, Finance and business leadership
  • Produce and deliver training relating to HR processes, with a focus on HR Advisors
  • Develop and maintain user guides for the HR process and systems
  • Support on strategic projects across HR disciplines
  • Contribute to new HR system deployments including data migration, test planning and delivery, documentation and first-line support

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-specialists
  • Comfortable working remotely with a high level of autonomy within a strategic framework
  • A proactive problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on ensuring data integrity
  • An ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Competent presentation skills (PowerPoint) and can convey complex data using straightforward and easily understandable language
  • Proven experience of HR analytics, translating data into meaningful People-based insights
  • Proficient in advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of HR systems, in particular, Salesforce-based solutions
  • Experience of a business intelligence platform such as Power BI or equivalent
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to draw insight and patterns from data
  • Exposure to various HR systems and Analytical tools (Required)
  • Experience of working on projects and as part of a project team (Required)
  • CIPD L3 (or equivalent) or higher or working towards (Desirable)
