Administrator Salary - £20,098 - £23,057Full time (35 hours) or can be part time (28 hours) Permanent Manchester - relocating to Bury in January 2023This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a well-structured organisation who can offer great career development opportunities. As an Administrator, you will be working to support the L&D department with all administrative tasks. A high level of attention to detail is needed to excel within this role and you will be exposed to a wide range of administration tasks.
Duties· Arrange meetings, hospitality, travel and accommodation as required. · Book and host Zoom and other online meetings including sharing documents and videos. · Prepare agendas and distribute associated papers and, where necessary, take minutes. · Assist in managing the electronic team diaries. · Support the Director and Deputy Director with diary management, maintaining confidentiality where appropriate. · Receive and respond to incoming emails/correspondence/telephone calls/enquiries. · Draft correspondence and documents on behalf of the Director · Support the ongoing development of departmental IT systems and processes, utilising Microsoft Teams and other software to enhance efficient and collaborative work. · Support general office duties including photocopying, filing, electronic filing and post. · Provide financial administrative support to the Accounts Assistant and Buildings Administrator as appropriate, in agreement with line manager. · Support internal and external events, including annual events and conferences. Experience· Experience of working in an administrative capacity · Experience of answering queries by telephone from the public · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional telephone manner · Intermediate/Advanced IT skills including: Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, MS Forms, MS Lists, and mail merge · Able to multi-task with accuracy whilst remaining calm and professional under time pressure · Attention to detail · Able to deal with and maintain confidential information complying with data protection laws · Willing to attend evening and weekend meetings and events - with notice · Willingness to travel to meetings (car not essential) Benefits· 22 days annual leave per year rising to 25 days after 12 months service, in addition to bank holidays and 3 additional days· Pension available The role is 35 hours a week full time but 4 days a week will be considered.Office is based in Manchester city centre currently but company is relocating to Bury in January 2023 so must be able to travel both locations.
