Facilities Administrator, Uckfield, full time office based (not hybrid), must have own transport and clean driving licence due to location, £25-32k doe, ideally immediate start on a temporary-permanent basis but our client will also consider someone on notice for a straight permanent role. Will also be required to travel to their Maidenhead office twice a month, fully expensed for mileage.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • First point of call for any facilities and Health and Safety queries
  • Daily office operations in support of reception duties
  • Ensure general site standards are met and maintained
  • General admin requirements, particularly supporting HR when required
  • Greeting visitors, issuing security passes and dealing with post and deliveries.

You will be the main person that deals with legal compliance, Fire Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessments, Electrical Safety, DSE and Health and Safety Training, plus the following:

  • Manage IT and Company Mobile Phone inventory - issuing and retrieving kit as and when required
  • Manage Onboarding and Offboarding processes with regards to employee equipment
  • Manage facilities emergencies and general maintenance routines for both sites
  • Keyholding responsibilities
  • Main point of contact for rental car company queries.
  • Utilities management
  • Supplies ordering: Required office supplies and consumables (Incl. tea and coffee); Stationery management; Print room supplies etc

Ideally you will some experience in a similar facilities or H&S support role, with strong administration and organisational and communication skills. Good IT skills in MS Office and the ability to work as part of a team. Opportunity to work towards IOSH qualification.

The Facilities Administrator is full time, 36.5 hours with flexibility to work within the hours of 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension, life assurance, death in service, health plan, wellbeing programme, share incentive plan and free parking. Priority will be given to candidates that are available to start at short notice, ideally on a temporary to permanent basis, £25-32k doe. Immediate interviews.
