Category Supply Manager

Job Title: Category Supply Manager Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 per annum + benefits Location: Hemel Hempstead (flexi-working 2 days in the office, 3 from home) Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm + 1 in 4 weekends (time off in lieu)

Purpose of the role: To lead the Supply Planning Teams at Category Level and collaborate with other team Leads to effectively accomplish all category supply plans.

The Role:

• Directly line manage a team of 2-3 individuals
• Plan regular review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Performance management
• Day to day operational management
• Lead category supply meetings with customer and suppliers
• Attend/lead category meetings
• Manage team activities to achieve in all KPI's e.g. forecast accuracy
• Ownership of Supply Chain at Category Level
• Liaise with distribution centres
• Manage the transition of new or discontinuing products
• Effectively plan with the team to manage key events

Skills/Experience Required:

• Experienced in managing an operational end to end supply chain
• Management experience is essential for this role
• Process driven
• Demonstrable experience within change management and continuous improvement
• Strong in Microsoft Excel and Access
• Experience with ERP/MRP software e.g. SAP, JDA, Oracle or similar
