Up to £25,000 dependant on experience
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Are you an experienced administrator looking for that next challenge? In this role, you will work as an integral part of the Operations team, providing first class administration support. Working closely with the Operations Manager you will play a key role in the increasing efficiency within the department/team.
The main duties will include:
- Receiving, reviewing and analysing customer orders received mainly via email
- Booking orders with customer / manufacturers both verbally and via email
- Accurately inputting customer orders
- Reviewing charges on customer invoices which include checking fuel surcharge, freight charge rates and other surcharges
- Assisting with the competition of customs formalities and paperwork, to include agent pre-advice and safety & security declarations
- Raising of goods movement reference
- Monitoring discharge of Transit Documents.
- Managing incoming telephone calls and enquiries and resolving issues where necessary
If you have excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal), a confident personality with a can-do attitude then this could be just the job for you. You must have good numerical and literacy skills with excellent data input and good attention to detail. This is a varied and fast paced role and you must be able to work to deadlines, so strong organisational skills are key.
