A enthusiastic, hands on and customer focused administrator is required to Electronic Engineering Business. This role based in Royston is looking for an Sales and Dispatch Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient running "Printed Circuit Board (PCB)" assembly and distribution process within the business.

Within this new role in the business you will be working closely with the head of engineering, the technical support engineer and the office manager.

The ideal candidate will be both self-driven/ motivated, reliable, proactive and keen to learn new things. Plus, there is a great opportunity for you to grow and develop within the organisation and because this is a new role there is a chance to make this role your own.As Sales and Dispatch Administrator you will ultimately be responsible for:

  • Being the key point of contact for all enquiries coming into the business
  • Production of customer quotes
  • Managing customer relationship from enquiry through to delivery
  • Maintaining client relationships to ensure future orders
  • Managing the client database
  • Processing and dispatching client orders this includes booking and liaising with couriers
  • Payment of import duty on all incoming deliveries
  • Supporting the office manager with basic admin activities
  • The opportunity to learn and deliver basic PCB assembly work (optional but not essential)

The ideal Sales and Dispatch Administrator will need:

  • Experience in similar role type of admin role,
  • Excellent IT and administrations skills including MS Office and Excel
  • To be solutions orientated with a positive can do attitude plus strong problem solving skills
  • A willingness to grow and develop within the business and take on more responsibility
  • Ability to work independently
  • Affable with an ability to build strong working relationships
  • Good attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and structure

Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 5:00 (37.5 hrs per week). This role is based in Royston. The right candidate can expect to receive a salary up to £26,000 plus a quarterly bonus and benefits package which includes holiday entitlement of 22 days per year plus public holidays.
