Based in City of London and operating within software solutions, my client is on the hunt for an experienced and knowledgeable Office Manager with a strong HR focus to join their dynamic and ever-growing operations, starting ASAP, on a maternity contract for approximately 8 months with view for extension, paying circa £42,000 per annum plus great benefits. Combination of working from home and in the office. Reporting directly into the MD and work closely with the senior management team to ensure the smooth running of the company, the Office & HR Manager will cover an exciting portfolio of business support tasks including human resources, office management and finance admin along with other administrative support functions in an office of approx. 30 people.Duties include but are not limited to:1. Assist all Managers with Human Resources (HR) support2. Administer the HR and payroll records and systems - annual leave, sick leave etc. 3. Review and implement office policies and processes, where required4. Assist with recruitment of new staff and their onboarding5. Manage day-to-day office including liaising and managing the effective working relationship with the contractors and suppliers6. Ensure records are up to date and all administration processes work effectively7. Organise the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment8. Record office expenditure and manage the budget9. Supporting the process raising purchase orders, expense claims and the receipting of invoices10. Support function for on-going projects and programmes11. Undertake ad-hoc duties as requiredThis isnt your typical office manager role, its multifaceted and requires a person who is agile and progressive with strong experience in a commercial environment. The successful candidate will have:1. Proven experience in a similar role of preferably 3 - 5 years or more2. Proficient working knowledge of MS office applications, and Google Workspace3. Experience of supporting in an HR and payroll capacity4.
