Customer Service Admin

Your chance to be a Customer Service Administrator for an American owned manufacturing business whose UK & European office is in Cambridge CB1.

This opportunity is becoming imminently available, working on site Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.00pm

This role will be office based for the first 3 months to help you integrate into the business, but then allowing for hybrid flexibility so you can work from home 2 days a week if this appeals to you.

The focus of the role is to maintain strong quality business relationships with customers by providing an attentive service, processing orders through to delivery stage and helping resolve issues as and when they arise.

Your responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the Customer Service function

Handling incoming orders and complaints

Entering orders and amendments on the ERP system

Working closely with the production team to solve problems and meet customer needs

Ensure orders are shipped on time through interaction with other departments

Gather, analyse, and provide market and competitor information

Provide general office support in other areas when required

As our ideal person, you will:

Have a Customer Service background - ideally within manufacturing but this is not essential

Be able to work well on your own

Ideally have experience of using a manufacturing ERP system but again this not essential
