A leading physical distributor and reseller of global marine fuel is actively recruiting for a Spanish speaking HR Coordinator. The client has been established for over 25 years and is growing from strength to strength, currently employing over 400 people across 18 different countries.

The HR Coordinator will report into the HR Manager and will contribute to the day to day HR activities. This is a varied role that offers fantastic opportunity for career development in a global business.

Duties will include:

  • Ownership of the HR system Cascade, ensuring records are accurately updated and maintained
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the online personnel files, all general HR filing and archiving [electronic]
  • Updating of organisation charts monthly with any joiners/leavers/changes
  • End to end ownership of onboarding new starters; including drafting contracts, processing background checks and ensuring IT is set up in a timely manner. Escalating any issues to the HRBP/HHR as required
  • Supporting the HRBPs in the HR induction and organisation of full company induction
  • Coordinating interviews as instructed
  • Supporting the HRBP to manage the Pension process for UK, Ireland and Gibraltar.
  • Administration of all global benefits including PMI, Gym membership etc
  • Support the HRBP/HHR with the renewal process as required
  • Responding to any employee queries regarding benefits, with guidance from the HRBP or broker if necessary
  • Support the team with leaver administration, issuing standard leaver letters, exit interview questionnaire etc
  • Issuing all mandatory training as required and ensuring its completion by staff, escalating to HRBP for noncompliance
  • Administration of contracts relating to professional qualifications
  • First POC for all HR related queries - escalating to the HRBP/HHR as required
  • Act as note taker in confidential HR meetings
  • Updating policies and procedures as required - ensuring intranet is updated
  • Supporting the HRBP with all Visa/immigration related queries and maintenance
  • Actively participate in projects as required, for example (but not limited to) wellbeing initiatives, Brexit, data cleanse, inductions

To be successful in your application, you must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a HR role
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Must have a high level of integrity and discretion
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent timekeeping discipline and strong work ethic - keeping to deadlines/ability to prioritise
  • Ideally CIPD qualified
