Role: HRBP - Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £50K-£60K

Location: Hybrid working Watford/London/remote

Start: Ideally starting immediately but negotiable.

HRBP required to support the demands of a fast-growing business. Our client is expanding their HR team and have a new role for a passionate and operationally driven HRBP with a strategic mind. The role will be working in a dynamic and demanding start up environment where no two days will be the same. You will thrive on being challenged and enjoy working within an agile and fluid environment where change is the norm. You must be willing to get stuck in and establish a real sense of ownership over your projects, despite a rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.

The HRBP will partner cross functionally to deliver a value-add service aligning with the business objectives. This is an exciting chance to be instrumental in the scale up an exciting new business. You must be hands-on, prepared to juggle competing prioritises whilst making a real impact on the business. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of human resources, have strong analytical skills with a good head for statistics and data, you'll need to be comfortable working with quantitative data, often in excel and charts along with evidence-based qualitative insights with particular focus on workforce planning and mobilisation. Ownership and autonomy will be required so ideally you have experience building out new processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse trend and metrics to develop solutions, programmes and policies and plan required actions based on data
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
  • Assist management in conflict resolution, manage and resolve an complex employee relations issues, conduct effective and objective investigations.
  • Set standards for ethics, values and culture of the company
  • Onboard new employees and manage immigration documents, taxes and benefits packages
  • Consult with line management and leadership and provide HR guidance and advice
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address potential grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Identify and develop training needs for teams and individuals
  • Provide guidance and suggestions for new HR strategies, process and policies

Qualifications

  • Proven HR work experience in a similar role, ideally at HRBP level
  • Degree or relevant qualification in CIPD/CPP
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and data
  • HRIS system savvy
  • Excellent relationship management skills across multifunctional teams and demonstrate a passion for people
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of labour legislation & employment law
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

The role is required immediately and on a Fixed-term contract until Jan 2024. Our client supports hybrid working, you would be required to work from the Watford and London offices 3 days a week with the remainder from your preferred location.
