The role is responsible for driving key strategic communication and employee engagement projects across the companies entities in the Europe and Africa Region (20+ countries). You will be responsible for the design and delivery of timely and compelling content to be shared across internal and external channels, this role will have the employee experience at the heart of everything it does.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and implement employee communications that brings to life our vision, values and culture to employees
  • Create thoughtful, creative campaigns that drive engagement across diverse & international groups of employees
  • Use new and innovative ideas to help us communicate more effectively
  • Multi-media content creation for communications channels, both internal and external
  • Ensure our communications are on brand and compliant with regulatory guidelines e.g. GDPR
  • Track communications campaign engagement, learn and develop approaches to ensure communications are continually optimised for success
  • Be an active part of a global network of communications professionals to work together to deliver aligned and engaging best practice communications
  • Develop effective networks and relationships at all levels in the business to influence and provide communication leadership and advice
  • Liaise with respective teams to ensure communication channels are considered as part of the company's expansion plans. Fostering a positive employee experience for anyone joining the company e.g. new country development, M&A's
  • Support GM People & Culture with executive messaging, crisis communications and internal business communications.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrates strong cultural understanding
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with superior attention to detail, in particular creative copy writing - able to "story tell" to land messages powerfully
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects
  • Experience in working with complex subject matters and creating clear and compelling messages to drive engagement and understanding across a broad audience
  • Proven experience in undertaking comprehensive research and analysis exercises to deliver an insight driven approach to communications
  • Strong project management experience to prioritise and drive communications initiatives and deliver work on time and to budget.
