A modern and dynamic law firm based in Northenden, on the outskirts of Manchester, is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their fast growing and ambitious team.

The role will be paying up to £27,000 and will be working on a hybrid basis, two days at home and three in the office, but there could be some flexibility on this depending on applicant situation.

This is a very supportive and developmental environment so their will be a lot of ability for the candidate to progress into a fee earner position if so desired.

The role will be working in the personal injury department, working withing a pool of legal secretaries, so ideally experience within this legal feel would be desirable.

Duties will include the following:

  • Supporting the fee earners with Audio Typing
  • Preparation of correspondence and legal documentation
  • Creating court bundles
  • Liaising directly over the phone and via email with clients and third parties
  • Diary management and meeting arrangement for the fee earners
  • Any other ad-hoc administration as well and filing

The ideal candidate will come from a legal background and ideally PI or pro-claim experience. You will have experience previously working as a legal sec, experience with court bundles, legal documentation as well as audio typing. You will have used internal systems such as Proclaim and Bighand or any other internal systems.
