Remote working - some Field Based

Salary £52,500 - £57,000 plus £50,000 OTE (flexible on salary for the right candidate)

Our client a leading identity verification, location intelligence and fraud prevention provider are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Field Sales team.

Must have experience in SaaS sales.

This is a rapidly expanding team who operate in a high performing, fast paced and customer centric manner. This role will involve a lot of travel and they are looking for someone who can be flexible, committed and who can go that extra mile.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head of Acquisitions, the wider team and the marketing teams, your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Deliver New Business Sales Results

  • Ensure revenue and profit margin targets are achieved through a direct value-based sales approach across the full suite of solutions.
  • Provision of accurate and timely management reporting of sales forecasts, pipeline, platform and performance.
  • Understand and develop deep sector expertise whilst identifying organisations who will benefit from solutions
  • Selling to new businesses but also establishing warm leads through collaboration internally and "Cross Sell" opportunities where other areas of the company could already be within these sectors
  • This sales role will be approx. 80% self-generated / 20% inbound
  • Develop & deliver Sales strategy
  • Working collaboratively with Head of Acquisitions to review, execute and develop the Go to Market/ sales strategy
  • Identify enterprise opportunities for the sale of solutions through pro-active self-generation of new business leads
  • Build a pipeline, which should be minimum of three times the annual target given by cold calling, using LinkedIn, referrals, professional networks and other marketing activity to drive revenue.
  • Operate proactively at senior level within prospect accounts to provide maximum exposure and credibility in exploiting the opportunities identifiedSkills
  • Experience of consistently exceeding targets in a fast-paced, innovative software/SaaS sales environment is desirable
  • Evidenced understanding of managing sales pipeline, including ability to self-generate and close business from cold
  • Ability to deliver against stretching objectives
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, delivered in a confident engaging and open manner
  • Experience of address management software or tech background would be beneficial
