We have an exciting opportunity for a press officer to join our leading public sector client and play a crucial role in the delivery of communications with the press and media within their Exeter HQYou will play an important part in delivering engaging media campaigns that ensure heart patients and their families get the care and support they need. You'll also support the Communications Manager to deliver national campaigns.About youWith knowledge of the media/press landscape, including previous experience of in a media environment, you will be able to manage, develop and implement effective media relations campaigns.Experienced at managing numerous tasks and projects with competing deadlines, youll be able to prioritise and manage your own workload, ensure key deadlines are met, and that campaigns are delivered to an exceptional standard.Alongside this you'll have excellent writing skills, including the ability to write accurate and engaging copy for a range of audiences.You will be comfortable working with multiple teams across the organisation of projects, have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and be able to build positive internal and external relationships in order to support world class campaigns.This role is temporary for the next 3-4 months and is an immediate start.The organisation are still operating a hybrid working model; with days in the office and working from home.The office is on the outskirts of Exeter and has parking and good transport links.If you are keen to find out more click apply today or call the office on 01392 42 861
