Facilities Co-ordinator - 12 Month Contract
Our client an IIP Gold accredited business are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Co-ordinator to join their small and busy team on a 12-month contract basis. This is a busy role that would suit someone who is able to work on their own initiative and who has had previous experience within a similar role.
Role: Facilities Co-ordinator (12 Mth contract) Where: Southampton outskirts Salary: to £25,000pa
Carry out weekly walk arounds, ensuring the building fabric is in good order, noting any defects and raising with FM, coordinating follow up on action items with the relevant contractor.
Have a good understanding of the Mechanical and Electrical issues to be able to provide solutions and feedback.
Provide supervision to outsourced contracted services.
Manage the cleaning and security contracts, reporting to Facilities Manager.
Monitor active jobs log and progress chase.
Review and make recommendations to maintain building integrity, maintaining accurate records as required.
Monitor all costs for all facilities budgets.
Ensure building plans are kept up to date.
Carry out weekly Health & Safety audits and report issues
Assist with the preparation and tendering contracts within the facilities team

To have a flexible approach and be willing on occasion to adapt working hours to suit business needs
Previous experience in a similar role
To be able to commit to a 12-month contract
