A great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking for that next opportunity. This role is reporting to the HR Manager and will play a pivotal role in a small team, with opportunity to further develop.
This role will suit an individual with generalist experience of the employee life-cycle and someone who enjoys the challenge of introducing new ways of working and procedures which will help shape the business.
The role will cover both Head Office and Warehouse/Production based employees. You must enjoy working at a fast pace, comfortable with change and have a positive contribution as a team member.
High volume recruitment of temporary staff, to include advertising, resourcing, interviewing and selection and offers.
Creating and preparing induction and on-boarding presentations and deliver this to new employees.
Compliance checking for new employees.
Revising Policies and Procedures including Statutory updates and work closely with Management Team to ensure changes are implemented across all departments.
Support managers on various employee relations matters to include disciplinary and grievance, flexible working requests, absence management, performance management and family-friendly policies ensuring consistency and fairness.
Project work such as appraisals, training, apprenticeships and well-being initiatives.
Assisting the team with preparing payroll input, creating new starter profiles, time-sheets and shift worker schedules.
Previous experience in Human Resources or a related role.
CIPD Level 5 or working towards this, or a Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
Evidence of experience in high volume recruitment and on-boarding.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail including dealing with confidential information.
Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to solve problems confidently and independently along with an enthusiasm to develop further.
Team focused with a desire to work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
Strong IT Literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
As the role covers both Head Office and Warehouse/Production based employees, experience of working in a factory environment would be an advantage.
This role is based in Hertford and offers a salary of approx. £30,000
