A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced recruitment team leader to join a leading home care provider. Working in a small, fast paced team, the recruitment team leader will be responsible for:

  • Leading, supporting and mentoring the recruitment team to deliver an end-to-end recruitment service
  • Understanding the needs of the business and allocating resources accordingly
  • Participate in various weekly and monthly meetings, and prepare reports/presentations to support these, as required
  • Monitor weekly and monthly performance against key individual and team KPI's and conduct monthly 1-1's with team members
  • Ensuring the team are adhering to our high compliance standards. Identifying any areas for improvement and providing additional training or process changes if required
  • Provide up to date forecast against targets and key KPI's to identify any issues with under performance and highlight over performance
  • Coach team in leveraging various resources - internet, community organisations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations - to, directly and indirectly, source and attract qualified candidates
  • Weekly review on advert posting and application numbers reporting back to the Onboarding Manager
  • Own and manage the recruitment process from initial candidate contact to offer, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Execute recruitment plans in line with Company recruitment policies and requirements
  • Conduct interviews with prospective candidates in accordance with sector regulations and best practices
  • Manage the application process for all candidates to include:
    • Application packs
    • Eligibility status
    • References
    • Care Worker telephone assessments
    • DBS

Job Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience gained either internally or from a RPO
  • An impressive track record of leading, managing and developing teams to achieve target
  • Results-focused, highly adaptable and flexible; used to working in a fast-paced environment to deliver against company hiring goals
  • Have hands-on recruitment experience together with proven ability to achieve demanding targets and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate learner who is always striving to improve processes and productivity
  • Have engaging communication skills, both over the telephone and face to face
  • Ability to foster a sense of professionalism and relationship building for self and team
  • Previous recruitment experience in Healthcare (Preferred)
  • Computer-literate with skills across MS including Word, Excel and Outlook
